EIA: US Propane/Propylene Stock Level Rose 1.8% on Week
OAKHURST, N.J. (DTN) --- The Energy Information Administration reports total
domestic propane/propylene stocks of 56.675 million bbl in the week ending
April 19, up 981,000 bbl week-on-week and 2.214 million bbl, or 3.9% lower than
in the same week last year.
Data show propane/propylene exports last week averaged 2.335 million bpd, up
760,000 bpd week-on-week and 947,000 bpd, or 40.6%, higher than in the same
week last year.
Implied demand for propane/propylene in the United States averaged 439,000
bpd, down 236,000 bpd week-on-week and 237,000 bpd, or 54% lower than in the
same week last year.
EIA reports domestic propane/propylene production averaged 2.823 million
bpd, up 88,000 bpd week-on-week and 360,000 bpd, or 12.8% higher than in the
same week last year.
East Coast PADD 1 inventories ended the week at 3.937 million bbl, up
107,000 bbl week-on-week and 1.236 million bbl, or 31.4% lower than in the same
week last year.
Midwest PADD 2 inventories ended the week at 13.384 million bbl, up 844,000
bbl week-on-week and 750,000 bbl, or 5.6% higher than in the same week last
year.
Gulf Coast PADD 3 inventories ended the week at 35.631 million bbl, up
92,000 bbl week-on-week and 2.978 million bbl, or 8.4% lower than in the same
week last year.
Combined inventories in the Rockies and the West Coast, PADD 4 and 5, ended
the week at 3.723 million bbl, down 62,000 bbl week-on-week and 1.251 million
bbl, or 33.6% higher than in the same week last year.
